NCS Core Learning Plan (Self-Paced)

The Nutanix Certified Services - Core (NCS-Core) learning plan is designed to support Nutanix employees and partners in preparing for the NCS‑Core exam and for delivering the NCI Cluster Deployment or Expansion service.

The learning plan includes the following courses:

• NCS | NCI Cluster Deployment or Expansion
  This is the online version of the instructor-led NCS-Core training. It does not include the hands-on labs, which are part of the instructor-led experience. If you have already attended the instructor-led training, you will find the same topics covered here. While completing this module is not mandatory, reviewing the material is recommended for exam preparation. This module also includes an assessment that may be helpful.

• NCS‑Core 6.8 Exam Prep Online
  This comprehensive exam preparation course is designed to build the knowledge and confidence required for success. It reviews the material covered in the NCS | NCI Cluster Deployment course in a condensed format and includes targeted practice questions for each section to support exam readiness.

• NCS‑Core 6.8 Exam
  This module provides access to the Exam Blueprint Guide and instructions for scheduling the exam and sharing your certification via Credly.

​Note: Learners who attend instructor-led training typically do not need to complete the self-paced learning plan.

NCS‑Core Instructor‑Led Training (ILT)

The NCS-Core instructor-led class is specifically designed for Service Consultants delivering Nutanix deployment services. Completion of this class is required to be eligible for subcontracting opportunities with Nutanix.

Note: You may take the NCS-Core exam without attending the instructor-led class. However, if you fail the exam twice, attending the class becomes mandatory.
