Unify all your Private and Public Clouds
Nutanix Cloud Clusters (NC2) dramatically reduces operational complexity, simplifies cross-cloud management, and seamlessly supports all of your applications and data between on-premises and clouds.
NC2 delivers a Hybrid Multicloud platform with the flexibility, simplicity, and cost efficiency needed to run applications in private or public clouds, operated as a true single cloud. NC2 runs the core Nutanix HCI stack (including Nutanix AOS, AHV and Prism), along with all Nutanix products and services, on bare metal instances on clouds such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Azure allowing you to easily migrate or extend applications from private clouds to these public clouds.
NC2 supports 4 EC2 bare metal instance types - z1d.metal, i3.metal, i3en.metal and m5d.metal. Based on the instance type availability, the following AWS regions are supported - US-East (N.Virginia, Ohia), US-West (N.California, Oregon), Africa (Cape Town), Asia Pacific (Hong Kong, Mumbai, Seoul, Singapore, Sydney, Tokyo, Osaka), Canada (Central), EU (Frankfurt, Ireland, London, Milan, Paris, Stockholm), Middle East (Bahrain), South America (Sao Paulo), AWS GovCloud (US-East, US-West)

NC2 installs and runs AOS, AHV and Prism on public clouds. In addition to that, you can run any Nutanix product or solution on the cloud cluster exactly like you would do in your on-premises Nutanix cluster except for Nutanix Objects which will be supported soon.
No, you do not. You can use any supported hypervisor in your on-premises cluster (AOS, ESXi, HyperV, etc). We install AHV on the cloud cluster but you can have any hypervisor on-premises. You will still be able to use NC2 to connect your public cloud with your on-premises environment.
NC2 offers you an easy way to get started using the Test Drive. If you would like a 30 minute self-guided tour of NC2, please start your test drive. All Nutanix and public cloud infrastructure costs are covered by Nutanix during the test drive time period (availability up to 8 hrs). If you are ready to start configuring your hybrid cloud with Nutanix and AWS or please start your 30-day Free Trial. The Free Trial for Azure is coming shortly. All Nutanix software is free to try during the 30-day period but the cloud infrastructure cost is the responsibility of the user.

Yes, NC2 supports AWS GovCloud in the West US and East US regions. NC2 is also a component of the Nutanix Government Cloud Services, which has successfully completed a full security assessment and authorization at a moderate security impact level of 325 controls. The FedRAMP Moderate control baseline equates to a DoD Impact Level 2.
