Deploy Virtual Desktops From the Cloud
Desktop-as-a-Service, or DaaS, provides the agility and scale of VDI, minus the infrastructure and some of the management responsibility. Running VDI in-house can be challenging due to constraints like app integration and delivery, budget limitations, and lack of VDI experts. All is not lost if you have VDI already deployed. The two actually complement each other. Most but not all legacy Windows apps perform well in a DaaS environment. This can be due to latency between your virtual desktops and the applications they are delivering, or hardware requirements for operation. So deploying both may serve you well depending on your situation.
