Meet Višnja Begović, an Associate Technical Account Manager based in Belgrade, Serbia. Although client satisfaction is the primary goal, Višnja is still able to maintain a flexible work-life balance while continuing to learn and develop within her role here at Nutanix.
I have flexibility in how I plan my day and where I work from, whether I work from the coziness of my home, or in our beautiful office with other team members.
Thank you so much for taking the time to speak with us about your Life At Nutanix on our Serbia team. Can you share a bit about your role here?
As Inside Technical Account Manager, I help our customers improve business outcomes. We help make their environments run as smoothly as possible while ensuring client satisfaction. We do this by addressing potential risk, through reporting and analysis, and by ensuring the application of Nutanix best practices.
We’d love to know how you’ve created a (work) life you love. How have you experienced flexibility within your team or role at Nutanix?
Nutanix provides work-life balance and that is very valued by me and my team members. There is no micromanagement. I have flexibility in how I plan my day and where I work as long as I fulfill my responsibilities toward clients.
I can work from the coziness of my home or from the beautiful, spacious, and well-equipped Belgrade office. At the office, I can bring in my loved ones and meet with team members. It’s always nice to gather and see people's faces!
There are a number of global companies that you could have chosen as an employer. What makes our team in Serbia so unique?
The people and the culture set Nutanix apart. I am sure that potential employees will see it in the atmosphere of the Belgrade office, especially during our special events like ice cream day, pizza day, and happy hours!
Let’s talk more about your career development here at Nutanix. How have you grown in your role?
I’m grateful that Nutanix is not only a global leader in cloud software but also a pioneer in hyper-converged infrastructure solutions. I get to work with cutting-edge technologies, which means constant learning and new challenges.
Additionally, Technical Account Management being a customer-facing role gives me an opportunity to learn how to understand clients, listen, and adapt to their needs. I’ve also learned how to set the right expectations and boundaries in my work life. It is so important to pause, reflect and complement your hard work.
It’s been such a joy learning about your experiences, Višnja. Before we let you go, can you offer some advice for someone who wants to be successful at Nutanix?
