In the light of this new year, I would like to share with our Partner Community my best wishes for a successful and healthy business in 2020, but also foremost my deepest gratitude for their trust in the Nutanix women and men, and for their commitment to the Nutanix solutions. Without you, our partners, we would not be able to serve our customers and continue our expansion.

For yes, 2019 was a year of significant growth for the Nutanix EMEA Channel business and for me personally. We introduced several exciting new channel programs which drove massive joint customer momentum as I took on the new role of leader of the Channel organization in EMEA.

When we were invited to participate in the Canalys Channels Leadership Matrix in November 2019, we honestly were not sure what to expect. It is with the most profound appreciation that we realized that you have ranked us as a Champion, based on the 2019 Vendor Benchmark.

Now, instead of my team and me patting ourselves on the back, I want to do 2 things:

Recognize you, our partners

It has not been an easy road, these last 10 years since Nutanix burst onto the infrastructure scene. We had to keep marching forward despite the competitors and doubters -- because we knew there was a simpler way to do IT for our customers. We are so grateful to all of you, our partner dreamers and builders, of this HCI market category with us.

Use this as a listening opportunity

We will keep doing what is working for you, and keep evolving what is not. As I shared in my session at the Partner Xchange Copenhagen recently, you will see us continue to invest in sales, marketing, and enablement resources to drive your success. As a primarily Channel company, our goal is to continue to help you grow your practice in meaningful ways, with --

  • Dedicated Channel Sales & Technical resources, and strong field alignment and support
  • Targeted investment in incentives like POP! and our New Customer Acquisition Rebate to help you land new joint customers from whom you can witness ongoing repurchase consumption
  • Integration of our OEM offerings with HPE, Fujitsu, Lenovo, Dell EMC and others, into our channel programs and investments -- providing you and your customers ultimate freedom of choice

We will never take you, our Nutanix partners, for granted. This recognition from our EMEA Channel ecosystem is a huge incentive for us to continue to improve our programs and partner strategy and execution - now let’s celebrate this joint success. Here’s to an even more successful 2020!
