[G1] Gartner scores Nutanix Enterprise Cloud on the solution criteria for HCI

Gartner, Inc., one of the world’s most respected research and advisory firms, released its 2021 Gartner® Solution Scorecard for Nutanix® Enterprise Cloud[2] [3] [G4] . This report scores Nutanix based on criteria for HCI solutions. Nutanix continues to build its HCI stack, extend capabilities to Hybrid Multi-cloud, and grow and extend its partnerships in enterprise data centers with HPE Greenlake® and in Cloud Native and container capabilities with Red Hat OpenShift®, Google Anthos™, and Microsoft ARC™ solutions. Through this growth and extension we are reminded that the core HCI capabilities of the Nutanix solution remains a strong and evolving foundation.

One of the main values of HCI is the abstraction of hardware and the resulting simplification in daily use. This has been a strength since Nutanix first shipped a product in 2012. [G5] This continues to be a design goal at Nutanix that is consistent across the product portfolio.

At the core of Nutanix’s operations model is the user interface, Prism™. Prism manages resources within a cluster as well as cross-cluster capabilities. From a single UI, a user can create VMs, manage networking, set DR policies, automate tasks, perform AI driven capacity planning, and many other tasks. [G6]

The Nutanix attention to detail and user experience continues to drive the product ahead. Prism remains a focus and one of the first things a customer will notice that sets Nutanix apart.

If you wish to read the report, it is available from Gartner.
