NC2 is a cutting-edge alternative to VMware Cloud on AWS, with a migration path that enables customers to leverage their AWS investment as they move into the future. Customers can take advantage of the Promotion as part of their Nutanix deployment or if they are replacing VMware entirely. The Promotion may also provide a way to accelerate VMware replacement by reducing the need to wait for those assets to depreciate. ​

What’s included?
  • One year of Nutanix licensing free, up to 1,000 cores, transacted as a one-time discount (promotional discount does not carry over at renewal). Deal term must be at least 3 years.
  • Migration optimization assessment service delivered by a designated 3rd party (offered at no cost to qualified customers with a migration of 600 cores or greater).
  • Access to white glove NC2 engineering services (offered at no cost for migration of 3,000 cores or greater; subject to availability)

  • Customers migrating from VMC on AWS to NC2
  • New and existing Nutanix customers
  • The organization must be a current user of VMware Cloud on AWS

FAQs

The Promotion offers significant software and service incentives to mitigate the cost of migrating from VMC to the Nutanix Cloud Clusters (NC2) platform.

The Promotion is valid until July 31, 2026.

These promotions cannot be combined on the same deal.  However, If a customer has previously taken advantage of the Broadcom to Nutanix Migration Promotion, it can now take advantage of the VMware Cloud to Nutanix on AWS Promotion if the eligibility criteria are met.

Yes, this Promotion is open for both existing and new Nutanix customers.

Partners can register a deal by submitting a registration on the deal registration portal and contacting their Nutanix representative to indicate that the deal is a candidate for the Promotion. If the deal meets all the eligibility criteria, the Promotion will be applied to the quote.
