Since 2016, Nutanix has tested and validated a range of HPE ProLiant DL and Apollo XL server configurations and firmwares, and certified them to run Nutanix software. Nutanix maintains a hardware and firmware compatibility list of these configurations, and makes the solution available via channel reseller partners.
With the 2019 global partnership announcement between Nutanix and HPE, and the introduction of the Nutanix-integrated HPE ProLiant DX range of appliances, Nutanix is continuing to offer the meet-in-the-channel solution to support existing customers. Compatible HPE ProLiant DL and Apollo XL servers and Nutanix software are purchased through channel resellers, and combined to build an enterprise cloud solution.
