CHALLENGES

Last year was full of upheavals and challenges. The health crisis has put a lot of pressure on IT infrastructures and Altea has always relied on the quality and robustness of their solutions.

In order to better respond to the needs of their customers and the Swiss market, EYRA Group was founded in July 2020, enabling Altea to transform itself and recognize its value proposal to broaden and strengthen around five fundamental pillars. These included ensuring innovation with the launch of EYRACloud, technological transformation, information security, and IT continuity, with human expertise at the center of each project.

EYRA aims to offer the market a true 360° approach to IT, thus positioning itself as a key player in the French-speaking Swiss IT market. The group has over 100 employees who are completely dedicated to its customers and their business needs.

EYRA Group has demonstrated great dynamism through the acquisition of a company highly specialized in the provision of technological solutions, the creation of a joint venture, EYRApproach, dedicated to information (cyber) security and data protection, all in just a few weeks’ time. EYRA was looking for a reliable platform with scalable features while also keeping the possibility to build an “à la carte” and incremental environment, depending on the success of the solutions in their catalog.

SOLUTION

The solution is built on two fully redundant and independent clusters in each of the EYRACloud data centers, providing the level of security required for data segregation (Flow Technology) and disaster recovery (Leap Technologies). Nutanix technology (AHV) combined with HPE’s Greenlake solutions allowed us to build a high-performance, scalable, and cost-effective environment.

In a highly competitive market, EYRACloud provides its customers with a seamless, flexible, and highly customizable service offering. In addition, the built-in reporting tools of the Nutanix technology help ensure the required level of performance for each of the services provided and adapt it accordingly when necessary. For customers, this translates into optimization of the services they subscribe to and, consequently, a pay-as-you-go model adapted to their needs.

NEXT STEPS

EYRACloud implements the security features to support its ISO-27001 certification process by setting up micro-segmentation with Nutanix Flow for the whole infrastructure and encryption for the relevant clusters.

At the same time, EYRApproach is launching its new 100% Swiss electronic signature product (Eyra sign) on a proven technology using Azure hyperscaler solutions combined with the EYRACloud offering powered by Nutanix and HPE products.
