Partners Are Our Customers

Recently Nutanix received an immense honor in achieving Champion status in the Canalys Channel Leadership Matrix 2021 for EMEA, Latin America, and Asia-Pacific. These results were based on analysis by the experts at Canalys who specialize in advising on key trends in the IT channel.

Even more importantly, the results reflected direct feedback from our valued partners around the world. Specifically in EMEA, Nutanix received 2-3X more responses than any vendor in the Canalys Candefero platform—and we are incredibly grateful for this support from our partners.

We know that it takes more than just a program or incentives to win the hearts and minds of our partners. Our partners face a plethora of choices to ensure that their customers succeed, and we take that seriously. We view our role across the Nutanix channel organizations similarly: our job is simply to help our partners succeed.

The feedback was resounding in a few key areas that we will continue to focus on into the future to help our partners perform faster, profit sustainably, and compete uniquely.

  • Technical Support rated at 92.6%. Nutanix has held a 90 average customer Net Promoter Score (NPS) over the past seven years. This reflects our customers’ overall experience with Nutanix products, as well as our pre-sales and post-sales support. That level of customer delight is unique. When our partners introduce Nutanix to your customers, you can feel confident working with a vendor that helps you compete in a differentiated way against your competitors.
  • Portals rated at 92.2%. Last year, Nutanix introduced a new Partner Portal that brought several capabilities into one platform. The goal was to simplify the digital experience for our partners, so that you can always get what you need quickly and easily. Another example of our philosophy around creating a delightful platform was reflected in the recent 2021 Influitive BAMMIE award for the Partner XTRIBE experience for EMEA partners. We want our partners to perform business with us faster and better, so your precious resources are focused on building customer value and profit opportunities.
  • Accreditations rated at 91.7%. Nutanix provides several paths for partners to get up to speed on selling, solutioning, and delivering services on our platform. Last year, we refreshed the Nutanix Certified Sales Representative (NCSR) path to become simpler and more focused for busy sales professionals. The Nutanix Certified Sales Engineer (NCSE) path features fully refreshed technical content reflecting the new product portfolio. And Nutanix Certified Services (NCS) offerings became the most popular certification path last year. If you haven’t already, it’s well worth a look to refresh your certifications so you can bring the latest knowledge to your customer conversations.

These are just a few examples of the mindset of our entire organization: that our partners are also our customers. We’re continuing to evolve to be the best vendor for our partners as you transition your profit continuum to subscription business models.

In the coming year, you’ll see us continue to invest in platforms to enhance partner autonomy in your go-to-market, offer additional certification paths for partners who want to develop specialized practices on Nutanix, and deliver insights to enable your customer intimacy across the engagement lifecycle.
