Nutanix Intelligent Virtual Agent: Smart Recommendations in Nutanix Prism

What is NIVA?

NIVA provides real-time, context-aware guidance leveraging Nutanix Pulse telemetry data, contextual page knowledge, role-based access permissions, and license entitlements.

With NIVA, you can discover features that are most relevant to your specific use case. By delivering contextual, instant guidance and relevant learning resources, it empowers you to understand and apply product capabilities, enhancing daily productivity and supporting broader digital transformation goals.

How does NIVA work?

NIVA is easily accessible via an icon located in the lower-right corner of the Prism console to provide proactive recommendations and contextual help.

Use-case example

If you’re on the VM page in Prism and initiate the “Create VM” action, NIVA analyzes the telemetry data, your current page context and license entitlements to provide a relevant recommendation, such as “Use Blueprints.” You can then choose to explore the recommendation by opening the side panel or dismiss the suggestion. Contextual help related to the current page is also available through NIVA.

This is just the beginning for NIVA. By harnessing the power of AI, NIVA will facilitate tasks and provide recommendations with greater precision and contextual awareness.
