Nokia and Nutanix are strengthening cloud connectivity and data center automation through the integration of the Nutanix Cloud Platform solution with Nokia’s Event-Driven Automation (EDA) platform. This collaboration is designed to enable automated network provisioning and simplified management for Nutanix environments, helping enterprises accelerate cloud deployments while reducing operational complexity. Through direct integration with Nutanix Prism using the v4 REST API, the solution automatically synchronizes network configurations between virtualized workloads and the underlying data center fabric.

The partnership is designed to provide benefits to end users by enabling seamless connectivity, agility, and simple operations across hybrid and multi-cloud environments. The solution supports both VLAN Basic and Advanced Networking subnets, including VPC breakout subnets, while offering flexible operational models through Prism Managed Mode and EDA Managed Mode. This allows organizations to choose between highly automated workflows managed directly in Prism Central or more advanced, policy-driven automation through Nokia EDA. By continuously monitoring virtual switches, subnets, host NIC associations, and categories, the integrated solution improves consistency, can accelerate service delivery, and can enhance scalability for modern cloud infrastructure deployments.
