AppScale provides open source API-driven serverless platform that automatically deploys and scales the applications on any cloud infrastructure. The aim of AppScale is to provide developers an easy-to-use platform to make the application development rapid for multi cloud deployments. The platform is modeled on the App Engine APIs supports Go, Java, PHP, and Python applications. AppScale’s first product, Scale Safe, automates the failover and migration of cloud apps and data from Google App Engine (GAE).
