019 Mobile is an Israeli communications company that provides MVNO cellular communications services, international telephony services, and also serves as an internet service provider for homes in Israel. With the expansion of its areas of activity over the years and the new services in the financial field, 019's computing needs have been increasing significantly. The Nutanix backup and recovery solutions are excellent," adds Nagar. "It is possible to set up a backup and disaster recovery system within seconds. If one machine falls, it automatically gets up at the other site. We have introduced a container infrastructure with a Kubernetes system that is easy to operate. In a few clicks, you can get a full Kubernetes infrastructure without messing around. After we have established a Kubernetes system for our banking solutions environment, we are planning another Kubernetes project for our communication solutions environment. With Nutanix everything is very easy and today all of our infrastructure is Nutanix.
We carried out the projects through GD-COMM, a business partner of Nutanix who has been working with us for many years with excellent service and professionalism. They are the ones who exposed us to Nutanix, when the transition and adaptation of our systems to the new environment was very easy. The Nutanix team was also professional, service-oriented and very fast. Not every company has this level of service.
"Finally," says Nagar. "We are constantly growing, both in the field of communications and in the financial field. We are expected to purchase more systems and of course it will be Nutanix. Ultimately, with Nutanix we get better support, newer technology, faster updates and more attractive prices. So everything is better compared to what we had in the past."
