The Nutanix Marketplace is a one-stop destination for discovering and deploying a wide range of Nutanix and Nutanix Preferred Partner applications.
Accessible within the Nutanix Central unified management console, the Nutanix Marketplace makes it easy to discover and launch Nutanix Files Storage, Nutanix Objects Storage, Nutanix Database Service (NDB), Nutanix Cloud Manager (NCM), and other solutions and quickly deploy them on NCP.
Update apps with LCM on-demand
With the latest release of Prism 7.3 and the enhanced capabilities of the Nutanix Lifecycle Manager (LCM) update manager, updating critical applications is now easier than ever. Now, you can update your Nutanix Marketplace apps on-demand, at your convenience – independent of Prism releases.
This gives you the flexibility to decide when and how to update your apps, helps avoid version mismatches, and allows access to the latest features and improvements the moment they’re released.
LCM goes beyond listing available apps for upgrade. It intelligently identifies dependencies, then recommends an upgrade path to reduce the guesswork of figuring out which app needs to be updated first or the correct sequence. By mapping out the interdependencies, LCM also minimizes downtime and allows a smoother, more reliable upgrade process.
New applications in the Nutanix Marketplace
We're excited to announce two new additions to the Nutanix Marketplace.
Nutanix Power Monitor – Get real-time, granular insights with metrics like power and energy usage at the node and cluster level. This helps to uncover your organization’s energy footprint, identify potential cost-saving opportunities, and opens the path for optimizing energy efficiency and workload placement.
Multicloud Snapshot Technology (MST) – Manage and move your data seamlessly across your hybrid multicloud environment. MST also simplifies data protection and disaster recovery.
With MST, your application-centric snapshots can be effortlessly replicated to any S3-compliant object storage, whether it’s AWS S3, the Nutanix Objects Storage solution, or any other compatible solutions. This helps customers offload snapshots from Nutanix primary storage directly to object storage and restore workloads anywhere NCP is running.
