Nutanix Cloud Services Achieve CSA STAR Level Two Certification
This recent CSA STAR certification reinforces Nutanix’s continued commitment to transparency and robust cloud security practices
Nutanix has successfully achieved CSA STAR Level Two certification for certain of its Cloud Services. The Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) Security, Trust & Assurance Registry (STAR) is a rigorous third-party assessment that evaluates the security posture of cloud service providers. CSA STAR Level Two builds upon the foundational Level One self-assessment by incorporating the requirement to undergo a third party audit based on the ISO/IEC 27001 standard and the CSA Cloud Controls Matrix (CCM).
This certification was awarded following a comprehensive audit of Nutanix’s cloud security controls, governance practices, and risk management processes. The assessment validates Nutanix’s alignment with industry-leading cloud security standards and its commitment to transparency and continuous improvement.
The following Nutanix Cloud Services are included in the scope of the CSA STAR Level Two certification:
- Nutanix Cloud Clusters (NC2) on AWS
- Nutanix Cloud Clusters (NC2) on Azure
- Nutanix Central
- Nutanix Cloud Manager (NCM) – Cost Governance
- Nutanix Cloud Manager (NCM) – Security Central
CSA STAR Level Two certification provides assurance to customers and stakeholders that Nutanix’s Cloud Services are designed and operated with a strong focus on security, compliance, and trust. It also demonstrates Nutanix’s proactive approach to the ever evolving cloud risk landscape and compliance with global regulatory requirements.
