Company Overview
Nutanix brings forth an exciting new SAN-less virtualized datacenter platform, converging two tiers of infrastructure down to one. Through the use of innovative server-attached PCIe Flash and high capacity SATA drives, Nutanix' innovative distributed storage and compute cluster localizes the data-path for higher performance and reduced complexity. Inspired by SAN-less distributed systems employed by Google, Amazon, Facebook, and Twitter, Nutanix is first to market with an enterprise-friendly, easy to deploy storage and compute cluster that dynamically grows to meet business demands.

Testimonials
“Working for a start-up is a completely different experience than what you’d find at a larger company. I worked for 3 months at my first corporate job before I was assigned a task that impacted revenue. When I started at Nutanix, I began updating the existing documentation and assigning bugs to engineers on the third day! Seeing the direct impact of my efforts on the value of my stock options, plus working with so many smart people makes it fun to come to work every day.”
- Meghan Myers,
Technical Writer
“After graduating from the University of Wisconsin - Madison, I worked on the Google File System for several years. I left because I saw potential in Nutanix’s vision and an excellent opportunity to grow and expand my distributed systems abilities. In many ways, the problem Nutanix is solving is more involved than GFS due to the compute and storage demands virtualization brings forward. It’s exciting to build a product that has potential to disrupt traditional compute-and-storage models.”
- Brian Byrne,
Member of Technical Staff
“The one thing that convinced me in joining Nutanix is their genuine passion to make a disruptive product that will be loved by the enterprise in every aspect. Not only are we innovative on system engineering, we also have a dedicated team in making a great front-end system that the enterprise has never seen before. To top it off, the game room is awesome! You get to play video games while at work. That’s our stress reliever here. Lunch is also good because it gets catered in the office and there’s a lot of variety. Oh, the weekly beer bash is nice to have as well. Overall the people here are cool and fun to work with.”
- JC Gueco,
