Nutanix Japan合同会社（本社：東京都千代田区、以下 Nutanix）は本日、東急不動産ホールディングス株式会社（本社：東京都渋谷区、代表取締役社長：星野浩明、以下 東急不動産ＨＤ）が基幹業務システム基盤を「Nutanix Cloud Clusters（NC2） on AWS」へ移行したことを発表しました。今回の移行により、スムーズな移行と仮想基盤の利用コストの大幅な削減を実現しました。
東急不動産ＨＤでは、DXを支える施策の1つとして、システムの立ち上げや拡張のスピードアップを目指し、業務システム基盤のクラウド化に力を注いできました。2022年から2024年末にかけて仮想サーバをAWS上で提供されるマネージド仮想化基盤に移行してきましたが、利用条件の変更に伴い、コスト増加が見込まれることが判明しました。今回Nutanix環境に集約したことで、仮想化基盤の使用料を、従来基盤を使い続ける場合と比較して40%低減しました。
今回の導入では、人事、給与、財務会計、営業管理などの基幹システムを支える仮想サーバと大量のデータを短期間で「NC2 on AWS」に移行しました。これにより、同社が推進するクラウドファースト戦略遂行における不安要素を一掃し、DXを支えるスケーラブルで高い信頼性をもつインフラストラクチャを構築しました。
東急不動産ホールディングス株式会社 グループDX推進部ITインフラ企画グループ グループリーダーの愛川洋一氏は次のように述べています。「NC2採用をめぐっては、グループ各社のIT担当者から『過去に2年半も要したサーバ移行が数か月で終えられるはずがない』との反発もありましたが、Nutanixの技術支援もあり短期間で実現できました。NC2により、DXにおける“守り”の部分である強固で安定したインフラが整備され、クラウド支出を最適化する有効な手段も手にできました。それをテコにしながら、AI活用など、“攻め”の取り組みを後押ししていきたいと考えています。その際には、ハイブリッドやマルチクラウド環境で動作し、リソースの管理が行えるNC2の柔軟性がさらに生きてくると期待しています。」
東急不動産ＨＤでは、今後も業務システム基盤のNC2への移行を進めていくと同時に、事業継続計画（BCP）対策の強化や「Nutanix Cloud Manager」などのツールを使用したクラウドリソースの最適化やコスト効率の改善に取り組む計画です。
