ハイブリッド・マルチクラウドコンピューティングのリーダーであるNutanix Inc.（本社：米国カリフォルニア州、プレジデント兼CEO: Rajiv Ramaswami 以下、Nutanix）は本日、インフラストラクチャー自動化とデータベース管理を統合することで、顧客企業のMongoDBの運用を簡素化するNutanix Database Service（NDB）プラットフォームとMongoDB Ops Managerとの認定統合を発表しました。この統合は一般提供を開始しており、MongoDBの顧客企業は、大規模に運用されるビジネスクリティカルな環境でライフサイクル管理とデータ保護をシンプル化できます。
MongoDBの統合型データプラットフォームは、運用データ、検索、AIを活用した検索の機能を統合しており、企業はレガシーワークロードをモダナイズして、AIの能力を大規模に活用することが可能です。
先進的なエンタープライズ企業は、インフラストラクチャー、データベース運用、バックアップワークフローを統合しつつ、運用の複雑性を抑えるシンプルな方法を求めています。NDBとMongoDB Ops Managerは、これらの機能をポリシーに基づく統合型のワークフローにまとめることで、手作業の負担を軽減し、効率化を実現します。

今回の統合により、企業はMongoDBの展開環境のライフサイクル全体で運用をシンプル化・効率化し、より迅速で一貫性の高い運用を実現します。以前はインフラとデータベースチーム間で数日にわたる調整作業が必要とされていたプロビジョニングも、自動化されたワークフローにより分単位まで短縮できます。バックアップ・リカバリは、MongoDB Ops Managerとの統合を通じて調整が可能になる一方で、NDB Time Machineは、より高速で予測可能な結果を得られるよう設計されたスナップショットベースのリカバリパスを提供します。データ復旧時では、秒単位のポイントインタイムリカバリを行うことができます。
