Nutanix Japan合同会社（本社：東京都千代田区、以下 Nutanix）は本日、社会医療法人財団 慈泉会 相澤病院（所在地：長野県松本市、理事長：相澤 孝夫、院長：相澤 克之 、以下、相澤病院）が、Kubernetes管理ソリューションであるNutanix Kubernetes Platform（NKP）を採用したことを発表しました。相澤病院は、既存のNutanix Cloud Platform（NCP）基盤にNKPを統合することで、AIを活用した医療への移行を加速しています。これにより同院は、基幹診療システムの安定性を維持しながら、AIを活用したアプリケーションの迅速な展開や高度なデータ利活用を可能にする高性能なコンテナ環境を整備しました。
医療機関を取り巻く環境では、人口減少や少子高齢化、サイバーセキュリティ対策の強化など、対応すべき課題が増えており、限られた経営資源で、費用対効果や運用負荷、将来の拡張性を踏まえたIT投資が求められています。こうした中、相澤病院では、画一的な医療DXではなく、実際の病院運営に即した病院DXを重視し、限られた人員でも医療の質と安全性を維持しながら、データ活用の高度化や業務効率化などデジタル化を通して強靭で持続可能な運用体制の構築を目指しています。
相澤病院では、これまでもNCPを基盤としたITインフラ上で電子カルテを含む基盤システムや50以上の仮想サーバーを運用してきました。これにより、限られたIT人材で高い可用性と安定運用を維持しながら、システム展開や更新の自動化・効率化、セキュリティの確保を実現しています。この実績を基に、同院は、さらなる俊敏性の確保に向け、コンテナ環境の可能性を認識しました。医療におけるコンテナ環境の実効性を検証すると共に、今後見込まれるAIの本格活用に向けた備えとして、NKPを採用しました。これにより、限られた運用体制の中でも、安定運用、継続的なアップデート、セキュリティの確保、持続可能な運用を提供するNutanixプラットフォームを更に活用していきます。
また、患者の機微な情報を扱う医療機関として、オンプレミス環境におけるデータガバナンスが不可欠であると考えており、その実現に向けて、NCPおよびNKP、さらにNKPをベースとした生成AI基盤である「Nutanix Enterprise AI（NAI）」の組み合わせが有効であると評価しています。
同院では今後Nutanixのソリューションを活用し、生成AIの利用をはじめとした、働き方改革と医療サービスの質向上を両立する新たな取り組みを推進していく方針です。
相澤病院 医療情報システム部 課長 小日向 隆行氏は、次のように述べています。
