Nutanix クラウドインフラ（NCI）が外付けストレージをサポート

Nutanix は、Nutanix Cloud Platform（NCP）の導入における外付けストレージの利用を可能 にする新製品「NCI Compute」の一般提供を開始しました。

NCI Compute の最初のソリューションとして、Nutanix Cloud Platform は Dell PowerFlex をサポートします。耐障害性、セキュリティ、拡張性、性能を重視するミッションクリティカルな大規模環境に適した、サーバーベースの完全なインフラソリューションとなります。

プラットフォームの選択肢の拡大

この新機能により NCP 環境における選択肢が拡大し、NCP を展開する際に外付けストレージの利用が可能になります。NCI Compute は、仮想マシン（VM）を活用するディザスタリカバリ、セキュリティ、ソフトウェア定義のネットワーキング、ミッションクリティカルなアプリケーション向けの自動化機能の統合により、ストレージプラットフォームの能力を強化します。

NCI Compute は、NCI のハイパーコンバージドインフラ（HCI）ソリューションを補完し、お客さまの組織やワークロードの多様な要件に柔軟に対応する選択肢を提供します。

コンピュートとストレージの分離を優先する場合には、外付けストレージと共に NCI Compute を展開し、高速性と俊敏性を優先する場合には HCI を展開できます。これらの異なる環境は、直観的な操作が特長の Nutanix Central クラウドコンソールによる一元管理が可能です。

Nutanix クラウドプラットフォームと Dell PowerFlex の統合

Dell PowerFlex は、NCP との統合がサポートされた最初の外付けストレージであり、拡張性と性能を重視するミッションクリティカルな大規模環境向けに構築されています。

この共同ソリューションは、PowerFlex の拡張性と性能に、Nutanix の AHV ハイパーバイザ、統合型ディザスタリカバリ、ネットワークセキュリティを統合しています。

この統合により、仮想マシンを中心とする環境のシームレスな運用と自動化が可能になります。Dell PowerFlex と統合した NCP は、NCIを提供する Dell の HCI アプライアンス、Dell XC Plus と共に提供され、お客さまの環境における選択肢と柔軟性を提供します。

PowerFlex のお客さまは、この共同ソリューションにより、金融サービス、公共セクター、医療・ヘルスケアなど、きわめて高度な要件が求められる環境において、新たな選択肢としてNutanix AHV ハイパーバイザー を実装したエンタープライズクラウドプラットフォームとして利用できるようになります。
