Nutanix、次世代クラウド管理プラットフォーム NCM 1.5 を発表

Nutanix は、次世代クラウド管理プラットフォームである「Nutanix Cloud Manager（NCM）1.5」のリリースを本日発表しました。NCM 1.5 は、ハイブリッド・マルチクラウド環境における運用を効率化するために設計されており、シンプルなユーザーエクスペリエンス、スマートなトラブルシューティングツール、安定性と先進的な設計を兼ね備えたプラットフォームを提供します。

NCM 1.5 は、IT 部門の運用における 3 つの主要な領域を最適化します。

ユーザー体験の簡素化

NCM 1.5 では、 インテリジェントオペレーションの機能が単一のインターフェースに統合されており、クラウド環境の複雑な管理を簡素化します。また、 インテリジェントオペレーション、セルフサービス、コストガバナンス、セキュリティセントラルなどの全ての NCM モジュールで一貫した有効化ワークフローが導入されており、従来のバージョンと比較してセットアップと管理が容易になっています。

トラブルシューティングの可視性向上

NCM 1.5 では、インフラの可視性を高めるために、インベントリブラウザとシグナルの２つの新たな機能が導入されています。

インベントリブラウザは、 Nutanix と vCenter の各ドメインを統合したビューを提供します。

シグナルは、アラート、イベント、監査を1 箇所に集約します。また、インテリジェントアラート、あるいはスマートアラートを設定することで、アラートノイズを軽減し、障害が発生する前に問題をプロアクティブに検知できます。また、シグナルは、Nutanix のローコード自動化ツールである X-Play のトリガーとしても機能し、対処アクションを自動的に実行して問題を軽減します。

インベントリブラウザ とシグナルにより、 IT チームは問題発生時に必要な情報を迅速に把握し、効率的なトラブルシューティングを実行できます。

プラットフォーム安定性の強化

NCM 1.5 は、Nutanix クラウドマネージャー（NCM）のアーキテクチャを刷新し、インテリジェントオペレーションとセルフサービスを Prism Central（PC）マルチクラスターマネージャから切り離しました。NCM と PC は Kubernetes® プラットフォーム上で独立した障害ドメインとして動作し、システム全体の信頼性が向上します。

本リリースは、今後のクラウド管理機能の基礎となります。従来のプラットフォームは引き続きサポートされ、新機能は最新版の NCM を通じて提供されます。
