Preparing for the Coming ESG-led IT Transformation Wave

Session Code: SPS19
Date/Time: Monday, 7 November 2022 15:45-16:15
Location: Hilton Ballroom B

Environmental, social and governance (ESG) reporting is increasingly moving from a “nice to have” to a necessity, and with that comes new challenges for IT teams. IT leaders need to be preparing for how they can deliver value by enabling positive outcomes for the business in tackling issues such as rising energy prices, sustainability, climate change, diversity, inclusion, equality, and governance. You’ll leave this session with key considerations for ESG and the impact of infrastructure and process decisions on it to help you enable these outcomes.

  • Avinash Shetty, VP, Product Management (Nutanix)
  • Steen Dalgas, Senior Cloud Economist (Nutanix)
  • RIchard Williams, CIO (EBD – European Bank of Reconstruction and Development)
  • John Cosson, CISO (JM FINN)

Nutanix & Red Hat: What’s next in an app-driven world? Optimising infrastructures

Session Code: TH38
Date/Time: Tuesday, 8 November 2022 13:40-14:00
Location: IT Xpo Stage 2

In this joint session with Red Hat, we will help you navigate the building app storm and enable the transition – while controlling costs. We’ll cover containers, security, self-service, hybrid cloud, data storage/growth, workload placement, cloud costs and infrastructure decisions in an app-driven world. 750M new apps will be created by 2025 which has the potential to cause silos, performance issues, and complexity. Digital initiatives and app proliferation create the need for new infrastructure and tools that enable innovation, modernisation, fast deployment and simpler management.
