Nutanix Partner Virtual Town Hall: Building Tomorrow’s Workspaces

June 21, 2021 | min

With the rapid expansion of work-from-anywhere and virtual desktop environments over the past year, a solid cloud strategy has never been more important. Helping our customers build their cloud strategy wouldn’t be possible without the expertise and support of our partners and technology alliances.

In early May, I had the opportunity to sit down with Mike Fouts, VP of Americas Channel at Citrix, and Ruben Spruijt , Sr. Technologist at Nutanix, to answer your questions about how Nutanix works with other technology alliances to provide a complete solution for hybrid and diverse use cases. We dove into how Citrix and Nutanix work together, the next challenge for EUC solutions, and what tomorrow’s workspaces will look like.

We asked partners who viewed the session if they had any follow-up questions related to the topic that we could answer. Below are the questions that are most relevant to what our partners want to understand to drive more success with Nutanix in the EUC space:

Q: Do you have real world examples of customer success stories with Citrix?

In this resource on the partner portal, you can learn how seven organizations brought end user experience and business productivity to new heights with virtual apps & desktop solutions from Citrix and Nutanix.

Q: Is Nutanix incentivizing partners for going to market with EUC solutions with Citrix?

Nutanix built our success from the early stages of our company with EUC and VDI solutions with Citrix, and this continues today with thousands of customers using EUC solutions on Nutanix. In fact, one of the best ways to open the door and introduce Nutanix to prospects is through our joint EUC solutions. When you do that and win, we reward you with a rich New Customer Acquisition incentive as a part of our Elevate Partner Program.

Q: Many of our customers are focused on cloud-based Citrix deployments. How can Nutanix help us?

We can absolutely help! Check out this demo video on how to deploy Citrix with Nutanix Clusters for AWS to get an overview of the technology.

Q: How can I become an expert on Nutanix EUC and VDI?

Building skills around EUC is extremely important in today’s world to not only win more deals by adding your unique value, but to advance your career as well. Nutanix has invested heavily in the past year to bring a new certification track, NCP-EUC, to help you learn how to design, install, configure, and manage an on-prem Nutanix VDI solution as well as to successfully deploy a cloud-based solution. Additionally, this June we’re launching a Sizing Fundamentals for EUC course to help you design a best-fit EUC solution for your customers using our Nutanix Sizer tool. You can find the above valuable training and more on Nutanix University for Partners.

Q: How can my company earn more outside of simply reselling Nutanix EUC solutions?

The opportunity to build a Nutanix services practice is here, and we are committed to providing you with everything you need to get started. Learn more about how your peers are building their Services practices in one of our Own the Future Vodcast Series episodes.

Thanks for taking the time to watch this quarter’s Nutanix Partner Virtual Town Hall - we hope it provided a great understanding of how to win today with Nutanix EUC solutions. To help shape the agenda of future sessions, be sure to sign up for Partner Nutanix Connection and be on the lookout for info on our next event.
