Solution Architecture
This architecture provides a secure and centralized solution for remote desktop access by integrating Leostream with Nutanix infrastructure. External users connect through the Leostream Gateway, which securely routes authentication and connection requests to the Leostream Connection Broker. The Connection Broker serves as the core management layer, authenticating users, enforcing access policies, managing desktop pools, and coordinating desktop assignments across the Nutanix environment. By separating external access traffic from internal management operations, the architecture enhances both security and operational efficiency.
Within the Nutanix environment, Nutanix Prism and AHV provide the management and virtualization foundation for hosting remote desktops. Once users are authenticated, desktop sessions are securely routed to the assigned virtual machines. The Leostream Agent installed on each desktop continuously reports session and availability status back to the Connection Broker, enabling accurate resource management and streamlined user access. Together, these components deliver a scalable, secure, and efficiently managed virtual desktop infrastructure solution.
