Abhishek Bhaiya joined Nutanix in 2020 and leads the global service provider program team at Nutanix. In this role, Abhishek leads a global team to develop and manage programs and go to market strategy to support our growing list of service provider partners. Prior to Nutanix, he led strategic planning and business operations at Infinera. Abhishek holds an MBA from UC Berkeley Haas School of Business and a B.S. degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.

Bhavik Desai is a Senior Technical Marketing Engineer focusing on Nutanix Cloud Infrastructure (NCI) and AOS. Over the past year Bhavik's focus has been around Nutanix integration with external storage vendors from an AOS perspective. Bhavik was part of the performance engineering team at Nutanix before making the transition to Technical Marketing and has been in the data storage, virtualization and cloud computing industry for 15 years.

Bill O’Donnell is a Senior Principal Security Product Manager at Nutanix. With over 25 years’ experience in information technology, Bill has been involved in security design, architecture, and product management of a wide range of challenging security solutions in software and hardware products. He formally worked as a senior security leader in IBM where he spearheaded secure, flexible, and cutting-edge solutions and was also the Chief Security Architect for IBM WebSphere Brand. During his time there, he authored several security papers and blogs including the company’s Security Intelligence blog.

Dave Brett is a Staff Solutions Architect at Nutanix, specialising in End-User Computing (EUC) and digital workspace transformation. With extensive experience helping organisations deliver secure, performant virtual desktop and application solutions, he combines deep technical expertise with a passion for simplifying user experiences. Dave is a recognised community contributor and frequent speaker at industry events.

Deepak Goel is the CTO for Cloud Native at Nutanix, where he leads the vision, strategy, and execution for cloud native platforms and technologies. He focuses on helping enterprises modernize applications using Kubernetes, containers, and cloud native architectures while maintaining operational simplicity and scalability.

With deep expertise in distributed systems, infrastructure platforms, and cloud native ecosystems, Deepak plays a key role in shaping the Nutanix cloud native roadmap and driving innovation across hybrid cloud and multicloud environments. He is passionate about open source, platform engineering, and building technologies that enable developers to move faster while operating reliably at scale.

Dwayne Lessner is a Principal Technical Marketing Engineer on the Technical Marketing team at Nutanix, Inc. In this role, Dwayne helps design, test, and build solutions on top of the Nutanix Cloud Platform, on-premises and in the Cloud.

Dwayne is always willing to assist customers and partners build the right solution to fit the project. Dwayne covers Nutanix Cloud Clusters (NC2) and likes to moonlight as a bad comedian.

Dwayne has worked in healthcare, oil, and gas in various roles. A strong background in server and desktop virtualization has given Dwayne the opportunity to work with many different application frameworks and architectures.

Felipe is a Senior Director of Engineering based in Cambridge, UK, and is responsible for the technology of various parts of Nutanix products. Joining back in 2015, he founded the Acropolis Hypervisor (AHV) host team, having also architected and written various parts of the product. He also founded the Nutanix R&D centres in the UK and Poland. He has a PhD in Computer Science from Imperial College London where he researched performance of virtualised storage. Outside of work, Felipe spends time with family, retro computers, and chess (on modern computers).

Gary has worked on systems performance for most of his career and founded the Performance Engineering team at Nutanix in 2013. Previously, he was doing performance stuff at NetApp and Sun Microsystems. Outside of work he is mostly waiting for his next track day.

Jarian Gibson is a senior staff solutions architect on the End-User Computing (EUC) Engineering team at Nutanix. In this role, Jarian researches best practices for running VDI and RDSH-based workloads along with related technology components, writes reference architecture and validated designs, and helps design, test, and build EUC solutions on top of Nutanix Hybrid Cloud Platform. Jarian has a strong background in end-user computing. Jarian has presented EUC-related content at various events and conferences along with being a co-leader of the Kansas City World of EUC Users Group, Board Chair for the World of EUC, and co-host of the Frontline Chatter podcast.

Jason Burns is a Technical Marketing Director and CCIE Collaboration #20707. He designs, tests, and documents virtual networking on the Nutanix platform, creating guides, demos, and training for customers and the field. Jason has designed and supported virtual infrastructure in the enterprise for the past decade, connecting hundreds of thousands of end-users. Outside of his day job, he has an unusual passion for certificates, security, and rock climbing.

Jesse Gonzalez is a Cloud Native Solutions Architect on the Solutions and Performance Engineering team at Nutanix. With over 20+ years of experience in IT, he has had the privilege of working closely with many organizations of all sizes to overcome their challenges in enabling cloud native (and more recently Generative AI) solutions on Nutanix

John Dodds is a Director of Product Management at Nutanix focusing on Data Lens and NCP platform security.  John has over 20 years of product experience in the areas of data governance, CSPM, CNAPP, SASE, CASB, and DLP for companies such as Veritas Technologies, Symantec, McAfee, Cisco Meraki, and Palo Alto Networks.  

John has launched several products bridging all these markets to help drive data aware security.  His main area of research has been in insights that can be gained from understanding information content, usage patterns, and user behaviors; using these insights to help companies implement data privacy processes, security policy, compliance policy, and data lifecycle policy.

Luke Congdon is a Vice President of Product Management at Nutanix based in Silicon Valley and leads  product management for Nutanix Enterprise AI (NAI), the Nutanix native hypervisor (AHV), and End-User Computing (EUC). Based in East London, Mat joined the UK team as a Cloud Architect and Systems Engineer more than 6 years ago. Before Nutanix he had IT roles across customers, vendors and service providers, large and small. Most notably he’s been a Lead Technical Architect at a Global Systems Integrator working on large multi-supplier transition projects, and a Technical Architect at a Nutanix customer that ran a SaaS service for the legal industry. Three years ago, Mat joined the Technical Marketing Engineering team and now focuses on Nutanix Cloud Clusters and how hybrid multicloud can address a multitude of challenges for organizations all around the world.

Mayank Gupta is the Director of Product Marketing at Nutanix and leads the GTM for its hybrid cloud solutions. In his role, he speaks to CXO and infrastructure leaders on their digital modernization, hybrid cloud, journeys, IT automation, cost, and security governance. Before joining Nutanix, he worked for the data center group at Intel. He has over 18 years of experience in the Compute and Storage space. Mike has over 25 years of experience in the IT industry and is currently focused on assisting customers and partners better understand the core functionality of the Nutanix platform. Mike has responsibilities around Nutanix Files, and the Nutanix Unified Storage portfolio.  Prior to Nutanix, Mike worked for EMC as a Systems Engineer with a focus on storage technologies, virtualization and their intersection with hybrid clouds. Mike has carried several certifications over the years including MCP, MCSE, MCDBA and NPP.

Paul Harb leads Solutions & Performance Engineering at Nutanix, a global R&D organization responsible for developing best practices, reference architectures, and validated solutions. He and his team drive foundational changes in how Nutanix engages on complex opportunities, helping customers realize tangible business outcomes from their cloud and infrastructure investments. Paul reports to the EVP of Product Management, partnering closely to improve Nutanix products and deepen multicloud integrations with leading third-party solutions.

Paul previously led Nutanix Professional Services in the Americas and APAC, worked for VCE and ANZ Bank, and holds a degree in Mathematics and Quantitative Economics from the University of California, Berkeley.

 Rajat joined Nutanix in 2021 as a Staff Scientist to establish and lead advanced AI research, including Reinforcement Learning, across the product portfolio, bringing startup experience rooted in his PhD work. He played a foundational role in the early generative AI efforts at Nutanix, architecting SupportGPT and defining its core RAG design and evaluation framework at a time when open-source LLMs were still immature, ultimately driving the system to production-grade quality. Rajat has also provided deep technical leadership in AI safety, alignment, and reasoning-model fine-tuning, influencing the NAI roadmap and AI-efficiency initiatives. Ramya Prabhakar is a Product Management Leader at Nutanix, leading the team on building core data and storage services to AI and cloud native applications. She focuses on providing modern infrastructure and services to data-centric applications on Kubernetes with all the enterprise-grade requirements around data protection. She has more than a decade of experience in building and launching B2B enterprise storage products, in companies like NetApp, EMC and Box. She has a doctorate in Computer Science from Pennsylvania State University. She is currently based in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Steve Carter is the Director of Product Marketing for the Nutanix Kubernetes Platform, where he focuses on helping enterprises simplify cloud native operations. With a Computer Science degree from UCSB and early career experience as a software developer, Steve combines deep technical insight with a passion for simplifying complex technical problems. During his tenure at Nutanix, he has held roles in engineering and sales engineering before moving into marketing, where he focuses on making Kubernetes accessible and practical for modern enterprises.

Steve has been in the industry for well over 20 years, the past 10 (almost) of which have been at Nutanix. He has worked as a Systems Engineer, EMEA Storage Solution Architect and most recently as Technical Marketing Engineer for Nutanix Unified Storage, working mostly on Objects. He also maintains an interest in Big Data. Prior to his time at Nutanix, Steve did stints at a number of IT vendors and services organisations, including a lengthy tenure at NetApp

Sujaikumar Jayarao is a seasoned Product Manager with over 25 years of experience in the IT industry, helping customers achieve peace of mind through innovative application and data protection solutions. Currently serving as Director of Product Management for Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery, Backup and Recovery and MST at Nutanix, he combines deep technical expertise with a customer-first approach to deliver reliable, secure outcomes.

Sven Huisman is a Senior Staff Solutions Architect in the Solutions and Performance Engineering – End-User Computing (EUC) team at Nutanix. 

In his role, Sven performs best practices research for running end-user computing workloads along with related technology components, writes reference architecture and validated designs, and helps design, test, and build EUC solutions on top of the Nutanix Hybrid Cloud Platform.

Tony Holland has been an IT professional for over 25 years. He started in IT as a consultant fixing printers and eventually moved to IT Director for a large marketing firm in Minneapolis. He then moved to the vendor side of IT working as a VMware Storage Specialist for a storage startup named Compellent before they were acquired by DELL. Tony joined Nutanix as employee number 90 as a Systems Engineer for the entire Midwest in 2012 and has progressed to a field CTO for the Americas for Nutanix.

William Parks is a seasoned Senior Product Marketing Manager at Nutanix, boasting over 19 years of field sales experience with renowned tech companies like NetApp, Microsoft, and EMC. As the Product Marketing Manager for AHV and AOS, he crafts the core messaging, drives asset development, and orchestrates NCI's integration into strategic campaigns. Christophe Jauffret is a Principal Solutions Architect for Cloud Native Technology at Nutanix, where he spends his days transforming complex technology into something that humans can actually use. With nearly 25 years in the industry, he’s made a career out of chasing innovative ideas and taming them for the real world.

Back in the early 2000s, Christophe helped bring virtualization into the mainstream, long before it became widely popular. Later, at VMware and Quest Software, he delved deeply into networking, automation, and container technologies.

Arvind is a Staff Solutions Architect for cloud native technology at Nutanix. Arvind has over 20 years of experience in the tech industry and is extremely passionate about Kubernetes and Cloud & IT infrastructure automation/integration. He has extensive experience in product engineering as well as working directly with customers in the field with large organizations across the globe to help them in their cloud native and container orchestration journey.

Sonali Mishra is a Principal Product Manager at Nutanix, focusing on the Nutanix Kubernetes Platform (NKP). She focuses on simplifying Kubernetes adoption for enterprises and enabling modern application and AI workloads at scale. Before joining Nutanix, Sonali spent four years at D2iQ, where she worked extensively on the company’s Kubernetes platform, DKP. Chris Brown brings over 10 years of experience in IT, spanning support, development, and product marketing. Currently a Product Marketing Manager at Nutanix, Chris focuses on cloud native solutions with an emphasis on the Nutanix Kubernetes Platform. Artur started at Nutanix in 2014 and currently holds a position of Director at Solution and Performance Engineering. He has many years of experience on migrating customers to Nutanix solutions. He holds NPX#22 and VCDX#77 certifications.

Marsha is the Global Category Leader at Nutanix. She heads up the field engineering team for the Nutanix Database Service Product. Her team ensures that products are successfully positioned in customer environments. Additionally, her team helps drive the direction of the product by working with engineering to prioritize enhancements and new features. 

She is a database expert across multiple database platforms specializing in Dev-Ops, on-premises automation, and virtualization as well as high performant databases. Prior to joining Nutanix she led the specialist org at Pure Storage.

Jeremy is Senior Principal Product Manager for Nutanix Database Service. Jeremy has been in the database and IT space for the last 25 years with the last 11 years at Nutanix. Jeremy is a Silicon Valley local, and worked at multiple startups over his career.

Bruce has been working with cloud native technology since 2015 where he served as Vice President of IT and DevOps for a Fintech startup. At D2iQ, he was the global director of sales engineering and came to Nutanix through the acquisition of D2iQ. He currently works as the Global Director, Practice Lead Cloud Native for Nutanix. Bruce is a former Marine and lives in Southern California with his five children and Goose the cat.

Sampanna Hegde is a Group Product Manager at Nutanix, where he leads the strategic vision and execution for Automation and Orchestration within Nutanix Cloud Manager (NCM). With over 14 years of experience in enterprise software, his expertise spans billing, telecommunications, and private cloud solutions. Sampanna has been with Nutanix for over seven years, playing a key role in driving innovation and product development. Prior to Nutanix, he held impactful roles at Oracle and Intuit, contributing to enterprise-grade product advancements. He holds an MBA from the University of Georgia and brings a deep understanding of cloud automation, orchestration, and business strategy to his work.

Ashok has spent his career working on virtualization of storage, compute, and networking in datacenters. As an engineer he has worked on the full stack, from hypervisor to private cloud to public cloud integration. He spent the last four years as a product manager for hybrid cloud, working on ease-of-use and frictionless adoption of hybrid cloud solutions. He’s currently a Principal Product Manager for Nutanix Cloud Clusters (NC2).

Raghu is a Principal Product Manager at Nutanix with over 16+ years of experience driving technology innovation. He is part of the Nutanix Database Service (NDB) product team, specializing in Backup and Recovery, Copy Data Management, and the SQL Server database engine. Before joining Nutanix, he worked with several leading financial services organizations, where he led major initiatives to modernize and scale database and data management platforms. He has also been a featured speaker at multiple industry webinars and conferences, including the PASS Data Community Summit, SQLBits, and Nutanix .NEXT in Washington, DC.

Aniket is a Senior Director of Product Management at Nutanix. He leads the global team of product managers responsible for all Nutanix Networking and Network Security product offerings. Aniket joined Nutanix 6 years ago and helped build this portfolio practically from the ground up. He joined Nutanix after a long career in various network equipment vendors (Cisco, Juniper, Force10, Allied Telesis) in different engineering and product leadership roles. In his last role prior to Nutanix, he was one of the earliest PMs to launch the industry's first wave of Software Defined Networking and Network Security products while at Juniper Networks. 

Krishna Chakra Karanam brings over 15 years of experience building cloud, security, and enterprise infrastructure products. At Nutanix, he is part of the Flow Product Management team, driving innovations that strengthen workload protection across private and public cloud environments.

Vimal has been in the Networking industry for over 15 years and loves to talk about all things connectivity. Outside of Networking, he loves to cook and is a huge fiction buff.

In his current role, he is helping build the Nutanix Flow Portfolio to simplify and address the Networking challenges for the hybrid multicloud deployments.

As a member of the Nutanix America's Nutanix Cloud Clusters (NC2) Technical Specialists team, Sean works with customers on designs for running Nutanix on public clouds like AWS, Azure, and GCP as well as migrations from existing VMware and Cloud Native VM platforms. Prior to his time at Nutanix, he built and managed a team of architects and engineers for a Microsoft partner delivering on large scale enterprise migrations to Azure.

Parag Karnik is CTO of Enterprise Platforms at Nutanix. He has led engineering and operations across regulated industries with executive roles at Credit Suisse, Johnson & Johnson, and Express Scripts. In these positions, he led major digital transformations, implemented at-scale multicloud solutions, and championed AI platforms focused on business value. Parag is known for transforming organizations into agile, high-performing entities with a growth mindset. He serves as a trusted advisor to C-suite executives, helping align technology initiatives delivering strategic business outcomes.

Laura Jordana is a Director of Technical Marketing at Nutanix based out of the San Francisco Bay Area. In this role, she and her team are primarily focused on creating technical content, enablement, demos and videos for Nutanix Enterprise AI and the Nutanix Cloud Platform. Prior to this role, she worked in customer support and inside sales engineering roles at Nutanix.

Jon Kohler is a Principal Engineer on the Acropolis Hypervisor (AHV) Host R&D team at Nutanix. He's been with Nutanix since 2014, focusing on core platform performance and scalability in both the AOS Core Data Path and AHV Linux Kernel. His performance work includes profiling, visualization, and developing code from concept to production.

Chris Porter (he/him) is a Brit masquerading as an Australian, who specialises in cloud native technologies as a Principal Solutions Architect at Nutanix. Despite his British roots, he can correctly pronounces "data" and "router", but struggles with the use of Z instead of S in words such as "specialises". Chris' career in IT spans many decades, working in both end-user and vendor roles, including a 4 year stint at AWS prior to joining Nutanix. He has spoken at many events across the globe, and delights in communicating technical concepts to audiences. Outside of work, you might find him singing karaoke, cycling his road bike, following F1 and Coventry City FC, driving his kids to various sports activities, or tinkering with his homelab. 

Kostadis Roussos is a renowned Software Architect and Principal Engineer with three decades of experience leading large-scale, transformative initiatives in the technology sector, most recently at Nutanix where he is the control plane architect for NCI. Before that he was the architect of vCenter and VCF for 9 and four years: A technical visionary with a background from Stanford University (M.S., Computer Science) and Brown University, his expertise is rooted in building and securing robust, multicloud distributed systems.

Mr. Roussos’s leadership is defined by his commitment to institutional integrity and structural reform, both in code and culture.

Jennifer has worked in product management and broader R&D roles in Silicon Valley for the past 25 years. In that time, Jennifer has experienced a wide range of technologies, ranging from semiconductors, servers, storage, and datacenter management solutions to virtualization technologies. Jennifer has worked at Nutanix for the past 8 years. In her current role, she leads the Compute Product Management function, including AHV, EUC partners and all things GPUs.

Ellie Ruano leads global product marketing for hybrid multicloud with the Nutanix Cloud Clusters (NC2) solution, where she partners closely with AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud to help customers navigate their cloud strategies with clarity and confidence. With a career in helping organizations select the right technologies to achieve their business goals, Ellie has a broad background across cloud, SaaS, mobile security, UC and conferencing. Ranjit Sawant is the Senior Director of Product Management at Nutanix, responsible for the Prism Central and Nutanix Central products. Ashwini Vasanth is Principal Product Manager for Nutanix Enterprise AI. She has over two decades of experience in Fortune 500 companies like Nokia, Verizon, and HP, and startups like DevRev, where she held engineering leadership and product management roles. She has built products in the areas of networking, security, distributed systems, consumer electronics, business process software, and AI, obsessing over security, scalability, and performance. Marc has been on quite the journey during his nine plus year run at Nutanix. Marc began his time at Nutanix as a Strategic Intelligence Engineer. Unfortunately, due to the nature of intelligence work he can't really talk about it...top secret G-L-G 20 type stuff. His journey then took him into the ranks of Product Management for a few years, where he was the steward charged with driving forward the Files product within the Unified Storage group.
