Founder and CEO of CrunchLabs

Mark Rober has amassed over 14 billion views by creating incredible science-focused builds and pranks on his YouTube channel, with 70 million subscribers and counting. In the summer of 2022, Rober announced his secret project, called CrunchLabs, a massive Willy Wonka-style factory of creativity in the San Francisco Bay Area, where the team creates each original, buildable engineering toys and the super fun (and science-packed) videos from scratch with an express focus on getting as many brains as possible excited about science and engineering. Since its founding, CrunchLabs has offered a monthly subscription for kids that delivers original STEM toys and exclusive videos that entertain and teach STEM principles. Kids can't get enough - the first run of Build Box sold out in under a week. Build Box's success paved the way for Hack Pack, the second product from CrunchLabs that demystifies coding and robotics for teens and adults with robot-in-a-box builds. Today, there are hundreds of thousands of subscribers and millions of boxes shipped. Rajiv Ramaswami

Chief Executive Officer, Nutanix

Mr. Ramaswami has served as our Chief Executive Officer since December 2020. A seasoned technology industry executive, Mr. Ramaswami has more than 30 years of experience spanning software, cloud services, and network infrastructure. He brings to our company a proven track record of building and scaling enterprises and teams, having a strong customer-centric approach, operational execution and developing innovative products and solutions to drive growth and value creation. Prior to joining Nutanix, Mr. Ramaswami served as Chief Operating Officer of Products and Cloud Services at VMware from October 2016 until December 2020. From April 2016 to October 2016, Mr. Ramaswami led VMware’s Networking and Security business as Executive Vice President and General Manager. Mr. Ramaswami served as Executive Vice President and General Manager, Infrastructure and Networking at Broadcom from February 2010 to January 2016, where he established Broadcom as a leader in data center, enterprise, and carrier networking. Prior to Broadcom, he served in multiple General Manager roles at Cisco across switching, data center, storage and optical networking business units. Earlier in his career, he held various leadership positions at Nortel, Tellabs, and IBM. Mr. Ramaswami has served on the board of directors of Marvell Technology, Inc., a semiconductor company, since July 2025. Mr. Ramaswami also served as a member of the board of directors of NeoPhotonics Corporation, a manufacturer of telecommunications circuits, from March 2014 to August 2022. Mr. Ramaswami is an Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Fellow and holds 36 patents, primarily in optical networking. Mr. Ramaswami holds a B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras and an M.S. and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley.

Manosiz Bhattacharyya

Chief Technology Officer, Nutanix

Manosiz Bhattacharyya (Mano) is the Chief Technology Officer at Nutanix. He has been in the company for over a decade, and has held various engineering and product management leadership roles. Manosiz started as an individual contributor and an early employee, building the hyper-converged distributed storage stack. He then moved on to lead and run Engineering and Product Management for Nutanix core infrastructure services. Currently, Manosiz leads the future architecture and technology direction for Nutanix, partnering with customers to understand their requirements and use cases and working with them to provide appropriate solutions. His primary interest is in hybrid cloud use cases and new workloads that can run on Nutanix. Before Nutanix, Manosiz held technology leadership roles in the RDBMS kernel group in Oracle, focusing on data and transaction management. While at Oracle, he also worked extensively on the database layer of the Exadata DB appliance - converging the DB compute into the storage layer.
Manosiz is a keen technology enthusiast holding several U.S. patents. He has a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.

Lee Caswell

Senior Vice President, Product and Solutions Marketing, Nutanix

Lee is the Nutanix SVP for Product and Solutions Marketing. Lee is well-known for accelerating the adoption of new technologies and came to Nutanix from VMware where he was VP Product Marketing. Lee has extensive leadership experience in the storage, flash and virtualization markets including past executive roles at NetApp, Fusion-IO, and Adaptec. Lee started his career at General Electric and holds a bachelor’s degree from Carleton College and a Master of Business Administration degree from Dartmouth College.

Thomas Cornely

Senior Vice President, Product Management, Nutanix

Thomas Cornely is the Senior Vice President of Product Management at Nutanix, leading the company’s product portfolio strategy. He brings more than two decades of experience in product and engineering leadership roles in enterprise infrastructure software, storage, cloud and data management. Before joining Nutanix, Cornely served as Vice President of Product Management at Rubrik. Prior to Rubrik, he was Chief Product Officer at Nexenta Systems (acquired by DataDirect Networks) where he was responsible for product strategy, planning and delivery. Tarkan Maner

Chief Commercial Officer, Nutanix

Tarkan Maner is the Chief Commercial Officer at Nutanix where he leads global business development and corporate development efforts, with a focus on strategic partnerships, alliances, system integrators, and service providers. Additionally, his responsibilities include leading critical hybrid cloud-focused strategy and product teams including Nutanix’s core virtualization platform (AHV), software-defined networking, and some of the key hybrid cloud services. Before joining Nutanix, he served as Chairman and CEO at Nexenta Systems, Inc., leading the organization from its open-source focus through its acquisition by DataDirect Networks (DDN) in May 2019. Prior to Nexenta, he was the President and CEO at Wyse Technology, one of the virtual desktop computing pioneers acquired by Dell in 2012. Avinash Shetty

Vice President, Product Management, Nutanix

Avinash Shetty is Vice President, Product Management at Nutanix. Nutanix is a global leader in cloud software and a pioneer in hyperconverged infrastructure solutions, freeing customers to focus on their business outcomes. He has been with Nutanix since 2013 and started out as one of the early Product Managers driving product direction, specifically the NX portfolio roadmap. Over the years, he was responsible for pricing and licensing, sales, operations and helping the company pivot to software and subscription selling. He is focused on the broader Nutanix portfolio strategy, cross product roadmap as well as dissecting the broader competitive landscape. With a background in engineering and Product Management and his ability to work across various teams within the organization, he has worn multiple hats at this time at Nutanix and filled gaps in various domains when needed. He has the rare ability to connect with customers while having a depth of knowledge across multiple disciplines.Before Nutanix, Avinash spent 5 years at Riverbed Technology, working in various roles and working closely with customers and internal organizations with a focus on the networking and storage domains. He helped shape early workloads and use cases for the SteelFusion product line. Inder Sidhu

Inder Sidhu is the Chief Customer Experience Officer at Nutanix where he leads Global Services, Support, Customer Success and SaaS Engineering. Before rejoining Nutanix, he served as Chief Customer Officer at Innovaccer, a Healthcare technology company. Prior to that, Inder was at Nutanix as the EVP of Customer Experience from 2017 to 2022.  Inder’s leadership experience across Engineering, Sales, Services, Support, Customer Success, IT and Strategy includes two decades at Cisco as the leader of Cisco’s $16B Enterprise business, Cisco’s Worldwide Professional Services organization, and the Strategy & Planning organization for Cisco Sales & Services. Dwayne Lessner is a Principal Technical Marketing Engineer on the Technical Marketing team at Nutanix, Inc. In this role, Dwayne helps design, test, and build solutions on top of the Nutanix Cloud Platform, on-premises and in the Cloud.

Dwayne is always willing to assist customers and partners build the right solution to fit the project. Dwayne covers Nutanix Cloud Clusters (NC2) and likes to moonlight as a bad comedian.

Dwayne has worked in healthcare, oil, and gas in various roles. A strong background in server and desktop virtualization has given Dwayne the opportunity to work with many different application frameworks and architectures.

Felipe Franciosi

Senior Director, Engineering, Nutanix

Felipe is a Senior Director of Engineering based in Cambridge, UK, and is responsible for the technology of various parts of Nutanix products. Joining back in 2015, he founded the Acropolis Hypervisor (AHV) host team, having also architected and written various parts of the product. He also founded the Nutanix R&D centres in the UK and Poland. He has a PhD in Computer Science from Imperial College London where he researched performance of virtualised storage. Outside of work, Felipe spends time with family, retro computers, and chess (on modern computers).

Gary Little

Gary has worked on systems performance for most of his career and founded the Performance Engineering team at Nutanix in 2013. Previously, he was doing performance stuff at NetApp and Sun Microsystems. Outside of work he is mostly waiting for his next track day.

Jarian Gibson

Senior Staff Solutions Architect, Nutanix

Jarian Gibson is a senior staff solutions architect on the End-User Computing (EUC) Engineering team at Nutanix. In this role, Jarian researches best practices for running VDI and RDSH-based workloads along with related technology components, writes reference architecture and validated designs, and helps design, test, and build EUC solutions on top of Nutanix Hybrid Cloud Platform. Jarian has a strong background in end-user computing. Jarian has presented EUC-related content at various events and conferences along with being a co-leader of the Kansas City World of EUC Users Group, Board Chair for the World of EUC, and co-host of the Frontline Chatter podcast.

Jason Burns

Director, NCI Technical Marketing Managment, Nutanix

Jason Burns is a Technical Marketing Director and CCIE Collaboration #20707. John Dodds

Director, Product Management, Nutanix

John Dodds is a Director of Product Management at Nutanix focusing on Data Lens and NCP platform security.  John has over 20 years of product experience in the areas of data governance, CSPM, CNAPP, SASE, CASB, and DLP for companies such as Veritas Technologies, Symantec, McAfee, Cisco Meraki, and Palo Alto Networks.  

 

John has launched several products bridging all these markets to help drive data aware security.  His main area of research has been in insights that can be gained from understanding information content, usage patterns, and user behaviors; using these insights to help companies implement data privacy processes, security policy, compliance policy, and data lifecycle policy.

Mat Brown

Senior Technical Marketing Engineer, Nutanix

Based in East London, Mat joined the UK team as a Cloud Architect and Systems Engineer more than 6 years ago. Before Nutanix he had IT roles across customers, vendors and service providers, large and small. Most notably he’s been a Lead Technical Architect at a Global Systems Integrator working on large multi-supplier transition projects, and a Technical Architect at a Nutanix customer that ran a SaaS service for the legal industry. Three years ago, Mat joined the Technical Marketing Engineering team and now focuses on Nutanix Cloud Clusters and how hybrid multicloud can address a multitude of challenges for organizations all around the world.

Mayank Gupta

Mayank Gupta is the Director of Product Marketing at Nutanix and leads the GTM for its hybrid cloud solutions. Mike has over 25 years of experience in the IT industry and is currently focused on assisting customers and partners better understand the core functionality of the Nutanix platform. Mike has responsibilities around Nutanix Files, and the Nutanix Unified Storage portfolio.  Prior to Nutanix, Mike worked for EMC as a Systems Engineer with a focus on storage technologies, virtualization and their intersection with hybrid clouds. Paul Harb

Paul Harb leads Solutions & Performance Engineering at Nutanix, a global R&D organization responsible for developing best practices, reference architectures, and validated solutions. He and his team drive foundational changes in how Nutanix engages on complex opportunities, helping customers realize tangible business outcomes from their cloud and infrastructure investments. Rajat Ghosh

Technical Director, AI, Nutanix

 Rajat joined Nutanix in 2021 as a Staff Scientist to establish and lead advanced AI research, including Reinforcement Learning, across the product portfolio, bringing startup experience rooted in his PhD work. He played a foundational role in the early generative AI efforts at Nutanix, architecting SupportGPT and defining its core RAG design and evaluation framework at a time when open-source LLMs were still immature, ultimately driving the system to production-grade quality. Rajat has also provided deep technical leadership in AI safety, alignment, and reasoning-model fine-tuning, influencing the NAI roadmap and AI-efficiency initiatives. Beyond product innovation, he is a trusted technical leader across the company and with customers—leading the evaluation and adoption of Cursor as a Nutanix coding assistant, serving as the SME for legal reviews of AI tools and LLMs, supporting the conversion of a key healthcare customer to NAI 1.0, and partnering with Corporate Development on AI technical due diligence—while building a strong AI research team and contributing to industry thought leadership through peer-reviewed publications, invited conference panels, internal talks, and Nutanix AI/ML blogs.

Ramya Prabhakar

Principal Product Manager, Nutanix

Ramya Prabhakar is a Product Management Leader at Nutanix, leading the team on building core data and storage services to AI and cloud native applications. She focuses on providing modern infrastructure and services to data-centric applications on Kubernetes with all the enterprise-grade requirements around data protection.
