Last week saw our first EMEA Partner summit taking place over two days in Marbella, Spain. We had over 100 delegates attend from more than 50 partners, spanning all corners of EMEA – from Finland in the North to South Africa in the South. We wanted to take the opportunity to demonstrate the massive opportunity for all of our partners that lies in the converged infrastructure market as it continues its upwards trajectory, transforming the datacentre marketplace. Of course, we also wanted to thank our partners for their continued support, demonstrate new technical improvements to our products and enable them to share best practice amongst each other while giving us valuable feedback about how we can improve our services to them.
We believe it’s crucially important that our partners feel that we’re supporting them as they look to develop their businesses and that they feel as much a part of the Nutanix family as our employees do, to enable them to share our vision of making IT history by simplifying infrastructure offerings and providing truly cost-effective and scalable solutions.
As such, at a gala dinner on our final night, we awarded those partners that have demonstrated significant innovation and growth throughout the past year and we felt had really gone the extra mile. We also asked partners with particularly interesting implementations to share their stories with everyone.
The awards were given out as follows:
• EMEA Innovation Partner of the Year: PROFI AG, Germany
• EMEA Partner Project of the Year: ON2IT, The Netherlands
• EMEA Partner of the Year: Nugensis, UK
• Top Nutanix Sales Professional of the Year: Dilip Kalliyat, Evanssion, UAE
• Top Nutanix Sales Engineer of the Year: Fabrice Colas, Nware, France
• Top Nutanix Champion of the Year: Kris Van den Bergh, Exclusive Networks, The Netherlands
Since the event, our teams across the region have been receiving extremely positive feedback – our partners really feel that we’re building something exciting and are be proud to be involved. Four things that we always seem to hear is that, when working with Nutanix, our partners are able to simplify their offering to customers with our converged infrastructure, differentiate themselves from the competition, reduce risk with our low-cost scalable approach and most of all profit and grow, transforming their businesses.
