Last year Nutanix exploded onto the hyperconverged infrastructure landscape with their inaugural user conference Nutanix .NEXT and the subsequent 100 city roadshow .NEXT on tour. Nutanix is rightly seen as the leader in this space, and it is my pleasure to represent AppSense, now part of the LANDESK family, this year in Las Vegas at the second annual .NEXT conference.
Nutanix is known for shaking up the infrastructure business, encouraging Dell, a close partner, and some other major players like HP, Cisco, VMware and others to put their best foot forward. AppSense too is delighted by the changes we have seen in our partners who are embracing hyperconverged infrastructure to enable VDI and help get customers reach solutions faster and more effectively at lower cost… …which when all is said and done is the name of the game!
At .NEXT, we’ll be demonstrating our latest incarnation of AppSense solutions: DesktopNow v10, Insight v10 and DataNow 4.0. With a particular focus on solutions for:
- VDI Enablement
- Windows 10 migration
- Secure and Compliant Desktops
AppSense’s maniacal focus on end-user productivity and ensuring that IT has the tools to deliver superior performance at the desktop and application level, fits well with our new owner, LANDESK, who finalized the acquisition of AppSense in April 2016. Stop by our booth at .NEXT, S17, to see just how well AppSense, LANDESK and Nutanix combine to deliver superior results.
- But don’t take my word for it, just listen to some of our mutual customers: Steve Lantz (Torrance Memorial), Mark Moch (Promise Healthcare) and Ray Jaksic (Coretek Services) wax lyrical about the benefits of the combined technologies here:
- “The new login process for us is 50% faster, typically 20s or less on the initial login, 10s or less on reconnects, and the staff just love it.”
- “User productivity was key at Promise Healthcare with VDI and disaster recovery and high availability issues resolved by Nutanix and the Coretek design.”
See you Monday June 20th in Vegas…
