Celebrating Customer Innovation: .NEXT 2018 Customer Awards
Last week we held our fourth annual .NEXT conference in New Orleans with 5,000 customers, partners and industry enthusiasts. We had something for everyone from novice to expert, and enjoyed connecting with peers and recognizing IT leaders who are transforming their organizations with technology as part of our .NEXT customer award program.
This year’s award categories were:
Cloud Trailblazer Award [Individual]
This award recognized a senior executive (CIO or VP-level) who has demonstrated excellence in technology leadership through innovation in his or her datacenter strategy that has directly resulted in a meaningful business impact to his or her organization. This senior executive is an innovator who inspired his or her IT team to challenge the status quo and embrace innovation in order to fuel the business, drive down costs, and reduce complexity-all while improving the overall productivity of the IT team.
The award for Cloud Trailblazer went to CSRA – Yogesh Khanna, CTO
Cloud Transformers Award [Team]
The Cloud Transformers Award honored a team that has helped elevate and evolve their organization through innovation in the datacenter, with demonstrable resulting benefits in customer experience, operational savings, or increased availability and efficiency. This award recognized a uniquely talented team for their innovation, strategy, and resulting ROI.
The award for Cloud Transformers went to Multi Commodity Exchange of India, MCX
DevOps Rockstar Award [Team]
Breaking down silos between IT infrastructure, IT Ops and App Development teams requires collaboration, insight, agility and the right technology. This award honored IT teams who working together to accelerate the development and roll out of business-critical apps. These innovators have found efficient and effective ways to remove friction from how teams operate and collaborate in the spirit of driving digital transformation
The award for DevOps Rockstar went to The Home Depot
.Heart Giving Back Award [Organization]
The .Heart Giving Back Award recognized companies that are simultaneously making a positive impact on their communities and the world. This award honored a socially responsible organization that has dedicated time, resources, and energy toward STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Mathematics) programs and diversity initiatives in order to foster a passion for technology and education.
The award for .Heart Giving Back went to JetBlue Airways Corporation
