SAN JOSE, California – October 29, 2014 – Nutanix, the web-scale converged infrastructure company, today announced that Direct One, a Brazilian company behind the One to One Engine system, which integrates and customizes digital and print media and provides analysis of performance indicators, has selected an innovative platform based on web-scale Nutanix web-scale converged infrastructure and the Microsoft Private Cloud stack (Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2 with Hyper-V technology, System Center 2012 R2, and Windows Azure Pack) in a private cloud.
Direct One adopted the platform with the aim of meeting four main goals: increasing processing capacity quickly to support the company’s rapid growth of 70 percent a year for the last three years; being scalable so that the operation can grow and the company can expand the services it offers to the Financial Services sector; and maintaining security and resiliency to meet the most demanding and critical levels of governance and regulations in the sector that it operates.
Direct One worked with Servix, a system integrator, to deploy a Private Cloud with the Nutanix NX-3000 series, Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2, System Center 2012 R2, and Windows Azure Pack. Using this new platform, Direct One has seen a 100 percent increase in document production, as well as improved security and resiliency. The company can now process 50 million customized documents per minute in XML format where it could previously only process 500,000 documents per minute.
